Program Monitoring

The Program Monitoring Toolkit offers information and resources to facilitate program monitoring within a tiered support system. The toolkit is designed to help school leadership improve their implementation efforts by providing insights and resources focusing on systematic program review, managing the intervention process, conducting fidelity checks, and differentiating Tier II and III interventions.

The resources included in this toolkit are designed to help school leadership:

  • Learn how to apply the problem-solving process to improve implementation of tiered supports at their school.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of effective teaming structures and analyze how to modify their program to optimize team effectiveness.
  • Describe characteristics of interventions and key considerations.
  • Describe processes for documenting and monitoring interventions and their importance.

The Program Monitoring Toolkit is comprised of three main sections. The content of each section is summarized below.
